The First Month

Daniel - Nov 26, 2007 - Announcements

This month we've had 48,469 visits from 44,677 unique users. That averages at about 1600 visits per day, and that's even counting the slow period when we first began. Things really started to pick up around mid November.

Best Search Terms

Here are some of my favourite search terms:

  • leather clad women youtube - Oo-err.

  • downloadmyspacemusic.co.uk - Wanted to go there, ended up here.

  • consumer controlled by government so android dream of electric sheep - Very deep...

  • taking fire! need assistance - I hope we weren't too late.

  • zealous forked sword of enhance - ???

  • how do u bind a weapon for counterstrike souce - Some people clearly still see google as a human

  • science has replaced god when it comes to explaining the world - I hope he got what he was looking for. Actually, he probably didn't, all of our religious articles take the stance against god. Erp.

Favourite Moments

  • Getting the first $0.37 for Google Adsense - and not really getting much more. Heh.

  • Having the database down when StumbleUpon thought it would be funny to send 500 simultaneous users. - Very funny, whoever did that one. Hahahaha. I'm laughing.

  • Being criticised and voted down on Reddit - One day, one day we'll gain their respect.

  • Observing the Stumble effect - It's impossible to gauge the sheer power of Stumbeupon, until it actually happens to you.

  • Being linked to - Mainly for the SF article, but it's all good.

Thanks!

Yeah - thanks to all the readers who seem to be keeping this site alive. We had no idea it would take off so quickly, but we've got you to thank - so, ah, keep on reading and keep on commenting. Think you've got what it takes to write for BlueSunCorp? Drop me an email, and tell me about it.

So hardly anyone comes back? ;)

Someone we know?

Jaffa

Might as well say it here, since you logged off <_<

Great site. The variety of articles is... intriguing, but makes for a good read/opportunity to annoy everyone. It's progressed massively since I last saw it a month or so ago and all three or more of you involved have put in a huge effort. All the best!

Daniel

You ever have an article you want to write John, you know where to come! Cheers.
